Dance

'“Dance is the hidden language of the soul” - Martha Graham

Everyone should dance no matter what age. Toddlers naturally dance and boogie when a beat comes on. It's something that every culture around the world has always done. So it's part of us, like music. It’s who we are.

Growing up in Kent, England, I started dancing the age 7 at a local dance school, before going on the train professionally at Performers College, England. I went on to work around the world as a dancer for 12 years before coming back to England to start teaching. I taught as a freelance teacher for 5 years, before starting my own dance school Danz Studio which I ran for over 10 years. I teach all ages from 3+ and can teach a range of styles.

So if you are looking for a dance teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience dance has been part of my life, all his life.

Fitness & Wellbeing

In this time of isolation there are many ways to keep active. What could be more enjoyable than to throw on some music and dance your way around the house? And just like people say sing like, no one's listening, you should dance like no one's watching.

As a fully trained dancer I know the importance of fitness and wellbeing. I have been running Dancercise and Stretch & Strengthening classes in gyms for the last 10 years.

In recent times I has added these classes online, initially for my current participants to continue not only with their fitness during the pandemic, but also for their mental health of continuing to be in contact.

Keep connected and learn online. Doing classes online at home saves you that travel time and you still can you still get that feeling of community in my online classes. Stay active, Be part of an online community, Try the convenience.

Now that gyms have reopened, may participants have gone back to face to face classes, but many have found the ease of doing these classes from home has fitted into their lifestyle, so I now continue to offer weekly online classes.
